CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Upright, evergreen shrub, with large, dark green leaves with a purple back. Upwardly facing plumes of tubular, slightly fragrant rose-purple flower clusters from early summer until autumn. Many stems appear from the center of the plant and rise straight up for several feet before branching. Prefers semi or full shade. Avoid cold frosty sites. Hardy for dry sites.
